Powered Mount

 

For some people who use powered wheelchairs and either an AAC system or a laptop computer, the location of the device makes driving the wheelchair, and perhaps other tasks, difficult or impossible. These pictures show a powered pivot that was designed and built for an individual to address this issue. It is driven by a DC gearmotor and powered from the wheelchair battery. Control is via two pushbuttons in a box mounted on the wheelchair armrest, in this case operated by headstick. For additional information contact:
